Billing on a One-Time Purchase: Receipts and Payment History

There's no monthly invoice to review because there's no monthly charge. But "one-time payment" still means you'll want a record of what you paid and when — here's exactly where that lives.

What checkout actually does

Choosing a plan and paying takes you through a standard, secure checkout (processed by Stripe). The moment payment is confirmed, your plan activates automatically — no manual approval step, no waiting period. You're redirected to a confirmation screen and then straight into your vault at the new storage tier.

Your payment record

Every completed purchase is logged to your account's payment history — visible from your profile, listing each payment with its date and amount. This is the practical answer to "did that actually go through" or "what did I pay eight months ago" without needing to dig through your email or bank statement.

Why "one-time" actually means one-time

A lifetime plan is exactly that: pay once, keep the storage for as long as LifetimeCloud operates — no recurring authorization on your card, nothing to cancel later, no renewal date to track. This is the core difference explored in depth in our subscription vs. lifetime cost breakdown: the entire billing relationship ends at the moment of purchase, which is also why there's no "next billing date" field anywhere in your account — there isn't one.

Upgrading later

If you start on the 1 TB plan and later want 2 TB, that's a separate one-time purchase for the difference in tier, not a plan change that reopens a subscription — the same one-and-done model applies going up in storage as it did on your first purchase. See tracking your quota and upgrading for when that's worth doing.

Current pricing

Both plans are one-time payments — check the pricing section for current numbers, since introductory pricing changes over time and we'd rather you see the live figure than a number that might be stale by the time you read this.

Pay once. No invoices to track.

A lifetime plan means checkout happens exactly once — and your full payment history stays one click away whenever you need it.
